How are your shirts sized?

We print on 2 kinds of shirts (check the description on each shirt's page):

Alternative Apparel 1070, which is a premium 100% combed and ring-spun cotton shirt.

American Apparel 2001, a Fine Jersey 100% cotton shirt.

Are the shirts screen-printed?

Yes! All shirts are high quality, screen-printed shirts. No Cafepress hijinks here.

How soon will I get my shirt?

We have 3 statuses for shirts: Pre-order ("paid"), In Production ("printing"), and In Transit ("shipped").

If the shirt is in Pre-order mode, we are waiting until we receive 12 orders to get it made, or we've just received 12 and are waiting a few more days to get more orders in. During this time, you can cancel your order anytime and receive a refund at current BTC prices.

If the shirt you want is In Production, it means that the shirts are being made and will be shipped to you within 2 weeks.

In Transit means your shirt is in the mail and depending on where you live, should arrive pretty darn soon!

Who runs this site?

Shirtoshi is run by Josh Jones and Andrew Smales.

Josh is a programmer and entrepreneur who's been interested in electronic currency since 1996. He graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from Harvey Mudd College in 1998 and founded and ran DreamHost until 2011. He discovered Bitcoin in July 2010 and mined a block on his eee media pc shortly thereafter. Since then he's hoarded more than his fair share of coins, and has developed Bitcoin Builder (a Bitcoin investment tool) and ChunkHost (a VPS host that accepts Bitcoin).

Andrew runs Castmate.fm, a podcast hosting company, and is currently working on Pankopay, a Bitcoin-related startup.
